The Collection Part II

Last month I opened an online shop featuring great looking crepe wardrobe staples which can be worn alone or layered. The opening was a huge success, so I am adding four new pieces to the collection.

The short basic tank dress in black.

The basic tank dress is perfect to layer with a jacket, shrug, scarf or cardigan. It is lightweight and travels extremely well.

The three-quarter sleeve top in black.

The three-quarter sleeve top in red.

The basic wide strap tank in cream.

The tops are shown here with the basic crepe pants which are also part of the collection.
These items are all made in the USA.

You can view the whole collection here.

Hi

Is it possible to order items for shipping to Australia?

Thank you.

Shipping worldwide is available. You may choose the safest shipping method at checkout. First Class is slow and sometimes gets lost.

There may also be a Customs Duty, tariff or tax imposed on goods shipped outside the USA.

I like the wide strap tank. Doesn't show the bra straps. How long would it be an someone 5'6"? Thanks

I am 5'6.5" Kathy.

Hi Susan--I love the dress on you. Is the short tank dress available with wide straps? Just thinking that you wouldn't have to worry that your bra straps are peeking out. Do you think this dress would work for a petite person at 5'1"? I realize it may need to be shortened. Does the back have a slit?

Susan Street said...

There is no slit in the shorter dress. I am 5'6.5" so it might work for you. I have shortened the straps on the longer tank dress with success. I will try to get the wide strap dress made for you in the shorter style. Thank you!

I will continue to repeat my prior promise: if you make it in navy/indigo, I will buy.

Hi Susan, in response to your comment regarding import duties or taxes when bringing goods into Australia, duty is payable if the goods in the order are $1000 or over...Cheers, Merrilyn

Would it be possible to offer these styles with a higher neckline? They are all beautiful but too lowcut for me.

Would love to see the short basic tank with short or three-quarter length sleeves. Not a big fan of the sleeveless look now that I'm a woman of a certain age! ;)

Susan, just a quick rave review for the crepe pants I received last week from your company. I had unexpected abdominal surgery about three weeks ago and I'm flying to France in a week, so as you might expect, I've been fretting over what to wear on that eight hour flight, as waistbands hit right over the surgical incisions. You have come to my rescue! These pants are not only stylish, but so, so comfortable that I'm no longer worried about that issue at all. And they are so lightweight that if the unusually warm weather continues, I know I can easily wash them in my room and let them dry overnight. How I now wish I had ordered more than one pair! Also, I must apologize for inquiring about the whereabouts of my order, as I had forgotten they are made to order and so take a little longer to arrive. Well worth the (slight) wait! Many thanks for such an excellent product and for your thoughtful and helpful blog. I love reading about your travel adventures with Mr. Mickey, and I hope one day the two of you will make it to my part of coastal North Carolina. I'd love to show you around! Warm regards, Gail

I have the brown pants and they are delightful. No more dealing with zippers and buttons for me. My seamstress shortened them and kept the slit, which I love. Looking forward to wearing them with a new silk leopard print tank when I go down south. At 67, I am becoming a little more adventurous with style. Not too crazy, just a tad.

I agree with sweetiepie....love the styles but necklines are too low.

I wear the tank styles under other items. It helps so much when the weather is warm.
